Our Jennies
We have a small herd of exceptional jennies, ranging from grey-dun, red, dark brown to black to compliment our jacks. All have impressive pedigrees which include some of the best Miniature Mediterranean bloodlines in North America. Chateaus Sweet Dewette was our very first Pure AMMD. Then we imported Ass-Pirin Acres Show Baby from the USA, Hiwest Pizzaz from Canada and Cyder's Marmalade and Cyder's Red Violet from Wisconsin, USA. In 2008 we imported a true black jenny "Merry-Go-Rounds 4 Leaf Clover" from Michigan USA and in 2009 we were thrilled to be given the opportunity by Maisie and Jack Hurst to purchase their beloved jenny Country Music's Billy Jo Spears (Imp.Texas, USA). We have also kept daughters of some of the jennies for our breeding programme.

All of our mature donkeys have been measured by an independent Official Measurer appointed by the Donkey and Mule Society of NZ.
Clovercrest PiazollaA very dark, almost black little jenny. She carries the same star as her mother 'Pizzaz" and grand sire "Future Link".
Cyder's Marmalade (Imp.USA)Marmalade is superb! Her "Old" Champion bloodlines trace back to the original Sardinian imports in just four generations.
Ass-Pirin Acres Show Baby (imp.USA)Show Baby comes from show stock. Her Grand Sire is Red Lightning one of the most sought-after Sires in North America.
Hiwest Pizzaz (Imp. Canada)Pizzaz is a Canadian born jenny, with lots of style and a great personality!
Cyder's Red Violet (Imp. USA)Violet is an eye catching rich red russet coloured jenny. A daughter of LN Foxworthy who's offspring are very sought after in the USA.
Clovercrest Miss MaisieOur very first home bred AMMD named after our dear friend Maisie Hurst.She has had a brilliant show career winning many Championships and Donkey & Mule Soc.awards.
Clovercrest PanachePanache is another fancy daughter of Spartacus. She is excactly the type of donkey we are trying to breed. A super friendly and smart looking girl. She is a half sister to Piazzolla.

Clovercrest StarletStarlet was Spartacus's first foal We are over the moon with this classy sorrel jenny. We have kept her for showing and as a future brood jenny. She already has an impressive Show record including Supreme Champion at the NI Donkey Show.
Merry-Go-Rounds 4 Leaf Clover (Imp.USA)Clover is the first true Black AMMD in NZ and Australia. She is a well built jenny with a super friendly personality.
Country Music's Billy Jo Spears (Imp. USA)We are thrilled to have aquired Billy Jo's bloodlines for our breeding programme. The "Country Music" stock is highly sought after and doing well in the showring Worldwide. Billy Jo has won the National Supreme Miniature Donkey title twice along with numerous other Championships. We thank Maisie and Jack Hurst for selling us this outstanding jenny.
Clovercrest Sweet CarlottaCarlotta is a small stocky daughter of our "Sparky" and we are thrilled to have been able to purchase her back. She typifies the original Miniature Mediterranean Donkey from Sardinia.
